COLD PLANING

Cold Planing, also known as pavement milling or asphalt milling, is the process of removing part of the surface of a paved area, such as a road or parking lot. This technique is used to improve the surface for repaving or resurfacing by removing a specified depth of pavement, which can range from a thin layer to a full-depth removal, depending on the condition of the original surface and the intended use.
